"Coming together is the beginning, keeping together is a progress, working together is a success." 
Recalling the recent memorable event held in my preschool for a group of over 100 mummies/caregivers  to celebrate each  one in doing the best you know how for your child(ren). Amazing turn out and a wonderful start as I kick off with an inspiring encouragement and celebrating mummies for their hard work and heart work which will never be in vain, the songs items for mummies taught by amazing teachers where appreciation was given to teachers acknowledging and appreciating them as many do play as role of "mummies" in school for the children. :)

So the thought "Cupcakes with mummies" came to my mind, and we executed the idea and it was so much fun seeing each one enjoy their time with their precious. With the blessings of my dearest friend who helps prepare the whip cream, cupcakes and decorations is also one who never fail to listen to any of my request whenever I ask for and bakes with their hearts. (GoDutch) does good quality cakes and pastries so you know who you could look for next time, and its halal!)

Many mums let their creative runs wild with their kids where many emerged with beautiful smiles over out of world designs, the conversations that broke into many hugs and kisses, the bite that each one took after completion of cupcake is like spreading love literally into the heart and tummies of mums! :) Forget to mention grace and favor simply pouring out into our school where (Wang Hong bakery) sponsored beautiful cupcakes for mums because mummies are just worth celebrating! The generosity of Wang Hong is so being appreciated.  Many insta-mums found just the right angles of insta-worth pics to capture that beautiful moment makes my heart tingling warm and it just feels so right to do this for each one.

Bringing in (Articulate Love) is just the perfect wrap of aftermath of cupcakes love activity,  where Eishen the trainer does her art in strokes of beauty, patient in explanation, bending over mums to coach gently, the de-stressing atmosphere spread across into our tiny art room which we can't contain many, but the love that filled the whole place can be felt as it makes hearts so calm and peaceful. It does feels wee bit of art therapy session, impressive art skills made simple in impartation, and the accomplishment of each one after completion makes mums feels so good. And you never know you could till you try. This session of art makes each one sweetly satisfied after the tummy filled experience with their precious. Definitely promoting Articulate Love to many who seeks to find that sweet spot of de-stress, skills impartation, finding that strength in you where you do not know exist. Perfect trainer (Eishen) for a perfect day with the right company :)

Looking at the many happy faces, meaningful conversations, and many hugs each one received, I could do this over and over again just to bless each heart. May this celebration will not be once a year, but a life-time of appreciation where we turn the simple things in life like putting sprinkles on cupcakes into the habit of sprinkling one another with words to build up each heart, and the sweet atmosphere of creating beautiful memories that last a life-time. Giving credits to each one from the youngest to the oldest who made this day a success for encouraging mummies, as the saying goes:
"Success is not created by one person, but a team who comes together as one." Going far together as a team for the best interest of the children, families and our school.
Life is like the blank canvas. It's our choice to choose the colours of the paint to paint on it. Let's make it colourful, beautiful and make it count. Always try because you never know you could till you try.

 //We don't always get it right, and it's ok// If any may feel stucked in any situation and can only see messes at your current situation, look deeper and you might be able to see that rainbow that is there shining causing a sense of warmth in the midst of chaos. :) Went to Singapore Art Museum and saw this beautiful rainbow reflection in the midst of entangled ropes which brings me to reflect upon many thoughts and hope it encourages all who read. Days of emotions may flood in, where many commitments fall on your laps on top of the art of juggling the different hats we wear daily, responsibilities to fulfill, and the relationships we held on in our heart might have a ripple effect of how we respond to different situations. Thank You Singapore Children's Society representative for taking time to come down and share with our five and six years old on how can we show care and concern to our community. This opened up their little minds how we can be thankful with the things they have and each child has the power to bless! Next up shall be discussion on what the children can do for the friends at the home together as a class. It has been an amazing time hearing the heart of what this beautiful lady does in Singapore Children Society, with the passion of wanting to serve the community ranging from children to adults. Enjoying the little things in life indeed is a huge building block to the big things in life which contributed to the many memories we held on so tight in our memory banks as we journey on in this side of the world. Being a full-time working mum with two amazing kids, enjoying my daytime as a preschool principal having a blast with many kids 24/7 gives me so many precious moments to embrace with the children as we grow together, relationship built with the many families I see daily as well as the educators which ignite many fires and sparks with daily exchanges in imparting skills,creative ideas in influencing the little minds. //Mum-Son Date// One on one attention?  Have you ever thought that within your family that group dynamic is very different from a one-on-one dynamic? While family time is so precious amidst our busy work-family balance, one to one attention given brings on that boost of extra flavor much needed for the soul. I've only come to realize recently that one on one attention is so important. Some children only come alive when you get them alone and give them space to talk. Spending time with our children individually is just so important, am sure it will reap benefits we know not of in the long run! What it does?  Individual time strengthens bonds between one another.
